Work Plan for 2024

Strictly follow the overall work arrangements and deployments of the college to complete the application and preparation for a national first-class major, and initiate and implement various tasks related to professional engineering certification, professional teaching, scientific research, and reform in real-time.

I. Enhancing Discipline and Professional Construction Capability

(1) Keep a close eye on the development trends of the electronic information industry, actively participate in talent research and job capability mapping projects organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) Education and Examination Center, contribute to the development of industry talent training, and provide strong support for talent training system construction;

(2) Relying on the results of previous industry talent research, further improve the talent training system for electronic information-related majors, and construct a course knowledge map for the main courses of the 2022 version training plan;

(3) Build a digital industry-education integration public service platform, focus on the electronic information industry to create a discipline and major talent training system that meets the standards of engineering education professional certification, promote the engineering education certification of cooperative majors, and respond to new technologies, new processes, and new processes in a timely manner. Improve the professional optimization mechanism, innovate discipline and major construction, and promote teaching reform.

(4) Conduct research on talent training model innovation

  1. Promote comprehensive reform of teaching methods such as heuristic and exploratory teaching methods, and cultivate modes such as cooperative, task-based, project-based, and enterprise-based teaching;

  2. Relying on the resources and technical advantages of the digital industry-education integration public service platform, introduce a variety of knowledge transmission platforms, enrich teaching methods, and promote student personalized learning teaching reform;

  3. Actively participate in training and certification organized by the MIIT Education and Examination Center, improve students' professional technical skill levels, and establish a rigorous and highly applicable new talent evaluation system.

Expected Results:

By actively participating in project cooperation and with the support and cooperation of the two centers, the following expected results are expected in the next 1-2 years:

  1. Focus on building characteristic disciplines and majors with regional advantages in Chongqing;

  2. Apply for the declaration work of national engineering education professional certification (or application and review of national first-class majors);

  3. Promote project-driven teaching models and form a scientific and effective project-based practical teaching system (where project-based practical teaching credits account for no less than 30% of the total professional credits);

  4. Organize the talent training system of project cooperation disciplines and majors to gradually connect effectively with the industry-related job capability certification and evaluation system.

II. Faculty Capacity Building Work Goals and Specific Plans

1. Carry out high-quality faculty team construction

Relying on the course resources, certification resources, scientific research project resources, etc. of the MIIT Education and Examination Center, encourage school teachers to participate in training and certification of industry frontier technology and scientific research innovation ability, promote teachers to participate in industry social services, improve teachers' practical teaching, project implementation, and scientific research innovation ability, and promote the construction of national and provincial-level teacher teaching innovation teams.

2. Carry out teacher exchange and cooperation

Relying on the think tank resources of the MIIT Education and Examination Center, encourage teachers to have in-depth exchanges and cooperation with industry experts and enterprise experts, understand the actual needs and development trends of the electronic information industry, and timely grasp the frontier technologies of the industry.

3. Optimize teacher incentive mechanisms

(1) Establish teacher incentive mechanisms to encourage teachers to improve their own electronic information-related teaching ability, practical ability, social service delivery ability, and scientific research innovation ability;

(2) Commend and reward outstanding teachers to enhance teachers' enthusiasm and sense of honor.

Expected Results:

Relying on the resource advantages of the MIIT Education and Examination Center, actively dock with industry resources, improve teachers' teaching ability, practical ability, and scientific research ability, and achieve the following expected results in the next 1-2 years:

(1) More than 50% of the teachers in the project cooperation major have obtained no less than 5 intermediate or above industry certifications in related fields;

(2) Send no less than 5 teachers to participate in professional frontier training in the field of electronic information each year;

(3) Train no less than 2 backbone teachers, with the proportion of dual-teacher-type teachers not lower than 50%, form 5 school-level professional course teaching and scientific research teams, and promote the construction of national and municipal teacher teaching innovation teams.

III. Professional Teaching Resource Construction Plan

1. Work objectives and specific plans

Actively participate in the compilation of electronic information talent training standards

According to industry talent research reports, job capability requirements, and other spectrum diagrams, participate in the compilation of course standards, teacher training standards, and talent training base construction standards.

2. Carry out teaching resource construction related to project cooperation majors

According to relevant standards and talent knowledge maps, combined with the development trend of industrial technology, optimize and supplement teaching resources that can timely reflect new technologies, new processes, and new processes, organically integrate knowledge and skills, and form a knowledge system and cross-technology application system that meets the needs of electronic information industry positions;

In accordance with the "Gold Course" construction guidance of the Ministry of Education, based on the five major "Gold Course" construction standards of online, offline, blended, virtual simulation, and social practice, carry out first-class course construction, and at the same time carry out the construction of teaching resources such as experimental guidance books, textbooks, and project cases.

Combine the talent training and evaluation resource advantages of the MIIT Education and Examination Center to form a characteristic resource library with both talent training and talent evaluation.

3. Expected results:

Relying on the resource advantages of the digital industry-education integration public service platform and the platform's professional construction enhancement capabilities, the following expected results are expected in the next 1-2 years:

(1) Promote the construction of boutique courses and develop no less than 2 municipal or national gold courses according to the gold course standards.

(2) Based on this project cooperation, promote the construction of teaching resources, achieve the publication of more than 2 co-research textbooks, and the professional project case construction can fully support the cooperative major's practical teaching system.

(3) Participate in the construction of talent evaluation courses related to electronic information, and participate in the development of no less than 2 courses related to skill evaluation courses in the electronic information industry by the MIIT Education and Examination Center.

IV. Daily Teaching Management and Service Work

1. Discipline and professional construction

(1) Plan the "15th Five-Year Plan" for majors in advance, improve the top-level design of the overall development of majors, combine with Chongqing's "33618" system, and plan the long-term development of this major in a coordinated manner.

(2) Refine discipline directions and professional characteristics, build the existing 5 professional teaching teams, focus on building the embedded system development and digital integrated circuit design (FPGA development) team, and continue to deepen the connotation and characteristics of the team construction.

(3) Strive to introduce 2 new doctors and strive to flexibly introduce more than 1 industry high-level expert and team.

(4) Effectively promote the construction of first-class majors, according to the college's arrangements, and strive to submit an application for engineering education professional certification.

(5) Strengthen the construction of professional experimental teaching conditions, especially strengthen the construction of experimental conditions for courses such as microcomputer principles and interface technology, embedded systems, DSP, FPGA development, etc., fully ensure the course experiments for 120-130 students in this major, and gradually meet the opening of innovative experiments and comprehensive experiments.

2. Education and teaching reform

(1) Adhere to the talent training model reform of "full chain of engineering practice ability cultivation, and the whole process of innovation consciousness and innovation ability cultivation", improve and perfect the "Electronic Information Engineering Professional Ability Advancement and Improvement Action Plan", formulate quality standards for 4 professional core courses, student ability evaluation standards, and gradually promote and implement them in other professional elective courses.

(2) Fully implement the task of course ideology and politics, strengthen the cultivation, construction, and guidance of course ideology and politics demonstration courses, and decompose the education goal requirements into each course.

(3) According to the requirements of course goal achievement in the training plan, including course teaching, goal achievement evaluation, and continuous improvement in daily teaching management and assessment.

(4) Further promote teaching reform research, strive to立项1~2 provincial and ministerial teaching reform projects, strengthen school-enterprise cooperation, and strive to立项1~2 Ministry of Education collaborative education projects.

3.  Talent training and student work

(1) Actively carry out "one college, one competition, one activity", strengthen the guidance of discipline competitions and innovative entrepreneurship training, promote learning and practice through competitions, and continuously improve students' innovation consciousness and practical ability.

(2) Actively cooperate with the Student Affairs Office to do a good job in professional enrollment and employment, ensure an employment rate of more than 95%, and a further education rate of more than 18%.

(3) Center on students, pay full attention to the whole process of student growth and continue to deepen and do a good job in personalized guidance and guidance for students' academic tutors.

4.  Scientific research work

(1) Actively cooperate with the college to build scientific research platforms and infrastructure, and connotation construction, integrate team resources, strive to approve more than 2 national projects, more than 2 provincial and ministerial projects, more than 2 horizontal scientific research projects, and strive for a total fund of 3 million yuan.

(2) Strengthen the further improvement and transformation of scientific research results, strive to publish more than 6 papers and retrieved papers at level B and above, and apply for more than 4 invention patents.

5.  Social service and external exchange and cooperation

(1) Organize all teachers to participate in high-level academic exchanges and learning through platforms such as the China Electronics Society and the China Computer Society.

(2) Cooperate with electronic information industry enterprises to jointly serve the transportation field, deepen cooperation with enterprises such as Chongqing Haiyun Jixun Company, pay attention to the development dynamics of professional frontiers, and do a solid job in the cooperation and promotion of students' enterprise project training, graduation practice, and graduation design.

(3) Actively promote the exploration and implementation of enterprise customized class talent training, strive to build 1 enterprise customized class: Digital Integrated Circuit Design or FPGA Development Class; strive to build 1 micro-professional: Electronic Information Engineering Micro-professional: Integrated Circuit Design or FPGA Development.

6. Professional system and cultural construction

(1) Sort out relevant management systems, construct scientific and perfect management service measures, and better serve all teachers and students.

(2) Actively create an electronic information environment culture atmosphere, refine the connotation and characteristics of electronic culture, and strive to improve the quality of electronic culture.
