On July 1, the reporter learned that the preliminary round of the 19th China Graduate Electronic Design Competition (Southwest Division) of the "GigaDevice Cup" was held at Chongqing Jiaotong University a few days ago. A total of 68 evaluation experts from 20 universities including Sichuan University, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, and Chongqing University attended and selected the works in the preliminary round.
According to reports, the China Graduate Electronic Design Competition is guided by the Department of Degree Management and Graduate Education of the Ministry of Education, and jointly sponsored by the Chinese Institute of Electronics, the Chinese Association of Academic Degrees and Graduate Education, and the Youth Science and Technology Center of the China Association for Science and Technology.
According to the organizers of the competition, the competition consists of two parts: technical competition and business plan special competition, involving "circuit and embedded system", "electromechanical control and intelligent manufacturing", "communication and network technology", "information perception system and application", "signal and information processing technology and system", "artificial intelligence", "technology exploration and interdisciplinary" and "6G advanced wireless technology exploration" Eight entry directions, the content of the work covers industry, energy, transportation and other fields.
"In the era of rapid development of science and technology, electronic information technology is the main engine to promote social progress." The person in charge of the organizer of the competition said that the competition has become an important platform to reflect the total amount and quality of postgraduate training in a region. The preliminary round of the southwest division of the competition received 715 groups of registered works, of which 606 groups were valid works, an increase of 20.5% over the previous session, involving 26 universities in southwest China, and 181 groups of works submitted by Chongqing universities. The entries that enter the semi-finals will be held at Chongqing Jiaotong University on July 6 and 7.
